User comments
It's very solid and reliable and pretty simple to set up if you have some sort of software service that needs to send out notifications. I needed push notifications for my product for power users, and building an app was not an option I wanted to take on. Pushover really came through for me.
What an amazing app! I found it when my cellular provider stopped their email to text service and now I'm glad I did. Initially I was only using the email gateway as a replacement to email to text service but as I discover more and more we've tied in the API services and WOW what a powerful tool. I really can't say enough great things about Pushover.
Great for Home Assistant Notifications. The HA app is nice, but the notifications are quite delayed sometimes. This morning I received an immediate alert from Pushover when my driveway sensor went off and my HA notification went off 3 minutes later. And having access to past notifications is nice.
Summarize
