Performance and limitations

Slow startup: Several functions—particularly screen mirroring—take an unusually long time to begin.

Unreliable operation: Image, video, and screen projection features frequently fail to work as expected.

Basic display quality: Because the app depends on a phone camera and LED rather than a true optical projector, the visual output is limited and best suited for low-light, close-range demonstrations.

Device dependency: Results vary widely between phones; newer models with stronger LEDs and better cameras perform better, but no hardware guarantees full functionality.

Summarize

The Flashlight Video Projector is a handy app that turns your smartphone into a projector. This free tool lets you show your photos and videos on big surfaces like walls. It uses your phone's camera and flashlight to project images wherever you want. At least that is what this app promises, but as you may be aware, these kinds of applications never work as promised. This one also received too many negative reviews from users, and it was then removed from the Google Play Store for good.
