Sony LIV

Sony LIV is a video streaming app designed specifically for users in India, supporting over 11 regional Indian languages to ensure ease of use. The app offers a vast library of content, including classic Indian movies, TV series, and various reality shows. It provides a rich selection of entertainment across diverse genres, making it easy for users to find exactly what they enjoy. Users can also set up personal profiles, allowing the app to recommend relevant videos based on their preferences and saving them the hassle of searching for quality content.

Features:

Watch in your language

Sony LIV supports 11 plus Indian regional languages. You can watch content in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and Kannada, among others. This helps you browse by language and find shows that match your comfort level. It also makes mixed-language households easier to manage in one app.

Originals, films, TV, and reality shows

The catalog covers LIV Originals, trending films, evergreen Indian TV, and popular reality titles. You can move between genres like thriller, drama, comedy, romance, and historical with clear sections that keep navigation simple. On premium plans, playback is ad free, which suits users who prefer uninterrupted viewing.

Profiles and personalized recommendations

You can set up to five custom profiles. Each profile learns what the viewer watches and suggests shows and movies accordingly. This keeps your home screen relevant and avoids mixing different tastes in one feed. It is practical for families or shared devices.

Offline downloads and device flexibility

Sony LIV lets you download selected titles to watch without a connection. You can also stream on multiple devices under supported plans, which helps if you move between phone and tablet. This setup fits travel, commutes, or patchy network situations.

Discovery tools with watchlist and alerts
