Introduction

Squid Game: Unleashed is a very fun battle royale game. Players will challenge themselves with obstacle courses inspired by the TV show Squid Game. Each round has a maximum of 32 players. Players can play solo or team up with friends in co-op mode. Only one player will survive to the end. As the game progresses, alliances may change, and players may even be suddenly eliminated. Players can earn virtual currency through the game, which can be used to buy character outfits and upgrade their levels. If you are unfortunately eliminated, you can switch to spectator mode to continue watching the game, ensuring a good gaming experience.

Features

No membership required

Access the full game on mobile without a paid subscription. You can start playing immediately, learn the basics in your first round, and keep progressing over time. This setup helps new players join friends quickly without extra steps.

Up to 32 players in each round

Face off against a large group of players in elimination contests that run at a brisk pace. You can queue solo or use Party mode to team up with friends, although only one player survives to the end. Expect shifting alliances and sudden exits as each round cuts the field.

Progression and customization through the Squid Ladder

Climb the Squid Ladder to unlock new games and features as you improve. You earn virtual cash and tokens by playing, then spend them on characters, outfits, animations, and emoji. These options help you express your style and mark milestones without affecting your core controls. Progress gives a steady sense of growth while keeping matches fair.

Social tools, matchmaking, powerups, and viewing options

Form a regular Crew to play with the same group and build tactics over time. Use in game chat to plan, queue faster with quick matchmaking, and continue watching in Spectator mode if you get eliminated early. Competitive tools and powerups can tilt a moment in your favor, such as a dalgona boost for a tough cut or a well placed dodgeball to stun a rival. Netflix members can also unlock Play Along rewards by watching Season 3, which adds extra goals for fans.

User Reviews

For a game that has just been released it’s very fun. The abilities seem to be quite balanced. Of course, there is an aspect of RNG where you can’t always win no matter how good you may be, but unlike most other games, it doesn’t ruin the fun. There are of course a few bugs when it comes to the servers which is expected upon release. Sometimes the game may not register a jump which can cost you the contest unfortunately. You will visually see your character jump just to be teleported back to where you were and ultimately die. Other than that, I don’t see anything wrong with the game! Keep the cosmetic items coming and everyone will be happy.Edit: I see some people complaining about how they are unable to progress because they are losing trophies. I personally like the trophy system as the entire point of it is to be used as a ranking system. If you’re good enough you will reach rank 70 and not everyone is supposed to be able to reach rank 70. I have reached rank 70 and it took less than a week, so it is more than possible for those who deserve it.I did find an issue with the new challenges that were released. Since I am already rank 70, I am unable to complete any “Gain Competitive Ranks” challenges.

This is absolutely the best game I have ever played. I would be lying if I didn’t disclose its share of problems as well. Great interactive game, that’s free. Able to develop relationships with other players and immerse yourself in the squid games world, in this game. Multiple character options, different games, form alliances, and multiple chat room options. Have to log into your Netflix account to use the microphone, while playing in a party with others. This game also has multiple glitches and randomly loses connection, even when you’re on WiFi. One glitch makes you stuck in the same place while racing to get to the end in racing games. The game isn’t frozen, you can see others passing you. When you try to run or jump, it will glitch and you are back in the same place; you are stuck in a loop with little to no progress. Another glitch forces your character to die in survival games. No fingers on the controls and character’s legs are not running but your character is shifting in the direction to fall off the ledge, platform, etc. Last major glitch is the game freezing after a round is over and it fails to advance your character to the next round. Each game has 3 rounds and if this glitch occurs after round 1, you will lose ladder points. Game is unable to detect that this occurred due to a glitch and you don’t get those ladder points back. Only way out of this glitch is by closing the game and restarting. These glitches are the only reason why I cannot give this game a 5 star rating; hopefully you find this helpful.
