Gameplay

To play Spore Origins, the first step is creating your account, after which you can enter the wonderful world of creature creation. To do so, you'll use an extremely intuitive interface where you drag the body parts you want to add to your creature into place, including mouths, eyes, ears, arms, hands, legs, feet, armor, feathers, spikes, and much more, all of which affects the creature's abilities, including health, defense, attack, and even charm, which is a useful skill for relating to the other creatures that populate the Spore Origins.

Game guide

Levels 1-3 (1-5): Primordial Ooze. Introduces food cells and basic enemies. (This area is unique as it is the editor tutorial. After Level 1 you may change your cell's color, after level 2 you may change its size and after level three you can also add parts.)

Levels 4-6 (6-10): Volcanic Trench.

Levels 7-9 (11-15): Murky Water. This area has limited visibility and includes a cell that emits a large radius of light around it.

Levels 10-12 (21-25): Deep Blue. This area has lots of ice that your cell can become frozen in. Introduces charging cells which will charge at you if they are close enough.

Levels 13-15 (16-20): Kelp Forest. Level 15 (or 20 in iOS) is a "Boss Battle" where a powerful cell must be killed to finish. This cell has body segments, that you must eat one by one.

Levels 16-18 (26-30): Sandy Beach. Levels 17 and 18 (or 29 and 30 in iOS) include "giant" cells which can be destroyed by tricking charging cells into charging into them to produce food. In level 18 this is the only source of food, except for an occasional small food cell after a few minutes of not killing the "giant" cells.

Really fun game. Cute graphics. Love the variety of pieces to experiment with different combinations. It doesn't happen very often, but there are some times my health drains like I'm poisoned, but I never got hit by anything. Not often enough to lower my rating though. Great job! Maybe add new pieces some time in the future, spice things up a bit.

I LOVE this game so far. I made it to level 27 so far and I really like it. The enemies have gotten much harder the only issue I have is with the virus infection mode sometimes when the Microbe that's holding the virus dies the entire virus disappears and never respawns forcing me to quit the game mode.. another thing is every once in a while the game freezes and crashes. But that's only happened maybe 3 times since I've been playing... also as others have suggested more multiplayer modes!!!

I like this game alot but it does need to be finished. It's been in limbo for too long. Revenge mode was never finished and we have not had any new items like ever so please do so e work on this game. It truely has potential to be a great game but it just lacks commitment to completion lol.
