Introduction
Pocket City is a simulation game where you play as the mayor, deciding where your city is located. You'll need to build your city, including parks, amusement parks, and schools. You'll also need to manage transportation hubs, deciding how many buses to send out each day and the capacity of each bus trip. You'll also control shares, adjusting taxes based on the monthly revenue of citizens' shops. You'll face various challenges, such as natural disasters. After a natural disaster, your city will suffer significant damage, and you must restore it to its original state as quickly as possible to prevent traffic congestion and panic among citizens. Criminals will also appear in the city, and you must apprehend them immediately to prevent further losses. Becoming a good mayor can bring you a great sense of accomplishment.
Features
Build Your City from the Basic Zones
Pocket City starts with the city's main components: residential, commercial, and industrial zones. You decide where people live, where they work, and where businesses can thrive. As your city expands, you'll need to consider how each zone connects to the rest of the city.
Add Public Spaces and Special Buildings
As your city grows, you can build parks, recreational areas, landmarks, distinctive buildings, and high-end amenities. These additions enrich the city's diversity and help shape the unique atmosphere of each area. New buildings and land will unlock as you progress.
Manage City Needs During Development
Pocket City requires you to pay attention to cash flow, traffic conditions, happiness index, employment, taxes, environment, and income. These data help indicate whether the city is in balance or facing pressure. For example, population growth may require more job opportunities, while traffic conditions will affect the smooth operation of the city.
Complete Missions and Challenges
You can complete missions and challenges to earn experience points, coins, rewards, and unlock more game content. These missions will guide you but won't force you to choose only one playstyle. Furthermore, they help new players understand which areas of the city might require priority.
Handling Emergencies and Disasters
Pocket City includes city events such as street parties, parades, and marathons. At the same time, you may also need to deal with disasters such as tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, and meteorite impacts. This keeps city management constantly active, as even a stable city can face unexpected problems.

This is absolutely the most addictive game I've ever played! In this game, you can do almost anything. You can carry a city in your pocket, fly and drive freely, build your own city, construct all sorts of cool buildings, and make your city the most popular and best! I've been playing it for years and never get tired of it. You can turn it into a prosperous city or a "forbidden city" that everyone avoids. And the best part is: you can steal citizens' cars, and they won't even care, just like in GTA V! If you find five dollars while strolling on a sunny morning, I highly recommend spending it in this game.
This game absolutely crushes SimCity BuildIt, making other city-building games pale in comparison. After playing SimCity BuildIt, I found its city-building aspect to be secondary… so I tried this game. This is the real city-building game! Haha! You can freely explore your city, customize your mayor, set and balance taxes, and trigger various events such as street farmers markets, concerts, and family parties (and oh yes… you can even enter buildings… though their interiors are largely similar, it's a fun detail). It makes you truly feel like you're the mayor, not just an omnipresent bystander watching an empty city rise from the ground.
This isn't just a perfect city-building game, it's incredibly interactive! You can place your character in the city, let them walk around, or drive vehicles acquired through building relationships. It's fantastic to be able to experience various events and disasters in the city, just like playing The Sims (my favorite game)! The game is packed with elements that will keep you entertained, as there's always something to do: buy furniture to decorate your home, play mini-games, gather resources with tools, complete tasks, create new cities, adopt pets, roam freely in the city, and of course, build and manage your city. What I love most about this game is that moving or demolishing buildings is free, so I can decorate my city to my heart's content! :) I haven't played the first game, so I don't know what was added or removed, but this game is really excellent!

Summarize
Pocket City is a strategy and management game where you build the city of your dreams. This game combines the best parts of classics from this genre, like SimCity, but without long wait times, since this version doesn't have any microtransactions. You'll start building your city from the bottom up. From the very beginning, you can block off residential zones, commercial zones, and industrial zones. You'll have to balance all these zoning types so that your city can thrive as it begins to grow in size. And don't forget to add plumbing and electricity, too, or else no one will want to live there.
