Continue forward and pass under the bridge; you will encounter another Corrupted enemy. Move between the two buildings and then turn right. You will find a chest containing the "Mutated Claw" trophy—using it in the trophy menu grants a +8 attack power bonus. There is a door next to the chest, but it cannot be opened from this side, so you can ignore it.

Return to the fork in the path, but this time go left. Upon entering the clearing, you will encounter a creature twisted by reptilian traits; defeat it as quickly as possible. Here, you will be introduced to a new game mechanic: drink a Sanity Potion to restore your normal state, or remain in your current form if you wish to test your strength. Before moving on, head toward the mountain path and locate the brazier near the low fence. Beside the brazier, you will find Heggy—a small, frog-like creature. Offer Heggy enough Bone Shards, Sanity, and Animal Bones to obtain a Domination Crystal, which you can later trade with Viola.

Follow the steep path along the edge of the clearing until a cutscene triggers and Viola appears. Listen carefully to the conversation between Terrence and Viola; she reveals that Hegum has been completely overrun by the Corrupted. You will learn that this witch may be inextricably linked to the fate of the settlement.

Hi! Thank you for the timely response! I closed and reopened the game for a second time and it works! I think the error occurs when the sign in process is interrupted. I played for a bit and LOVE it so far. Nice mix of the fast pace of Bloodborne and slower paced Dark Souls, though I feel this approach can leave players wanting more from one or the other. I myself prefer the extremes over an intermediate pace. I wish there was pyromancy and voice acting could be better. The challenge is good fun

Finally after many days of trial and error got past the 2nd boss fight, toughest one till now, I liked the gameplay, it takes some time to get used to, but it's enjoyable, especially for someone like me who tries to explore every corner, there are hidden paths that give more if explored, there's no mini map so you have to remember everything, it is kind of difficult but worth the money if you spend enough time, I think I'm still around 10-15% of the game, will definitely take some time to finish

I have since changed my review. This is one of the few games that you can buy outright on the playstore that doesn't have annoying ads, you can do unlimited grinding with no energy systems, and a good storyline. This could pass for an actual souls game. The problem I was having seems to have been fixed. Active devs who care about their customers. Five stars for you guys.
