Introduction

Matchington Mansion is a very fun and addictive match-3 puzzle game. Players need to match three or more identical blocks on a board. The blocks have colorful patterns, such as pillows, cushions, candies, and more. Try to achieve the goal before running out of available moves. As the game progresses, the difficulty of the levels gradually increases. After completing a level, you can receive a reward and continue to complete the next task shown in the story. When the game prompts players to update a certain part, they can choose to decorate it. As you complete tasks, you can unlock more rooms, discover more related characters, and enjoy a longer gaming experience.

Features

Match 3 puzzle levels

Matchington uses colorful pieces such as pillows, cushions, and candy style items in its puzzle boards. You match pieces to complete level goals, then use the rewards to continue mansion progress. As the game moves forward, levels can become harder, so planning moves becomes more important than simply matching the first pieces you see.

Mansion renovation and decoration

Matchington connects puzzle progress with room repair and decoration. You can choose furniture, carpets, garden items, and other design pieces as different parts of the mansion open. Because these choices affect how rooms look, players who enjoy makeover games can spend time shaping each area instead of only clearing puzzle boards.

Rooms, hidden areas, and story progress

Matchington Mansion includes a mansion story that grows as you complete tasks. You unlock more rooms, find hidden spaces, and meet characters connected to the house. This gives the game a longer path for players who want more than short puzzle sessions, since each cleared stage helps reveal another part of the mansion.

Gameplay

Open Matchington on your Android phone and begin with the first puzzle level shown by the game.

Match three or more similar pieces on the board, then focus on the level goal before using all available moves.

When a level is cleared, collect the reward and continue to the mansion task shown next in the story.

Choose decoration items such as furniture or room details when the game asks you to update part of the mansion.

Use boosters or combo moves during harder levels, then return to room tasks as new mansion areas become available.

User Reviews

Matchington Mansion is very fun to play, but very expensive if you want to win consistently; game developers cld have been more generous in the coin distribution on level wins, with graduated earnings the higher up in levels you go, instead of the skimpy 10 gold coins (plus bombs) for each level win; realtor character is annoyingly chipper (she was probably a cheerleader in high school and never got over herself); villain is superbly mean, rotten, nasty and not EVEN nice; special characters are fun and inventive (loved the fortune teller); want to keep playing, but you don’t earn a sustainable amt of coins to continue playing without buying more coins to keep going; also, hate the limited number of moves for each level, as you are forced to spend coins to complete the levels because not enough moves are built into the level to complete it; it wld have been nice that, as the levels get harder and more complicated, more moves wld be made available to complete the level without having to spend so many coins; and, you don’t earn anywhere close to what you have to spend to recoup your expenditures; come on, guys, really? Are you THAT greedy? Yes, you need to pay your employees and make a living wage, but so do I! Soon, I will be unable to continue to play and explore the rest of the mansion, as I will not be able to afford to buy any more coins, and I really LIKE this game; so, to recap, more moves per level, more gold coins earned per level, will make this game even more enjoyable to play! Thanks for listening!!

One of my favorite things about this game is that you can play it without making purchases. It’s harder that way, but I enjoy challenging puzzles. Some challenges are very easy, but there are levels you need to play again and again to pass them. Though it can seem impossible at times to get past a level without making a purchase, there is always a way to get through. Even when the initial set up and the first move is the same, the result varies a bit...which makes all the difference to the rest of the game.Having said that, there are plenty of ads. I’m finding this to be the case with most games these days. Since I appreciate the chance to play for free to determine whether I even like the game, I don’t mind as long as the ads aren’t too distracting. In this case, I feel like there is a good balance and that the game has a lot to offer. I also can’t begrudge the game makers from a chance to earn something from their efforts...which is why I usually do make at least one purchase when I find a game I truly enjoy.DEVELOPER SUGGESTION: Continue to make it possible to play the entire game without spending money, but make it increasingly difficult to do so. The first rule of platform building is to build your user base by making your platform free and packing it with value. I suggest also staging free events and putting packages on sale for $.99 with furnishings, extra lives, stars and/or game pieces that make winning easier. Enable people to skip past the conversational parts and focus on the game play. Don’t overdo the ads. You’ll make far more money if you feed people’s obsession without frustrating them.

Mk, so a lot of people might be saying this is a money user. But.. I’ve never spent a single penny and I’d say im doing pretty amazing. The levels may be hard and challenging but would you really like it if it was just easy? I feel like there wouldn’t be a purpose to it, and it would get boring. It’s pretty engaging even though I have no clue if there’s an ending . I would like if you could make and customize your own character. There have literally been almost no ads. And it’s never crashed for me in my life. This is an amazing game and people should be thankful for it. Like, oh no, it’s so hard well good you can’t expect everything in life too be easy! And they don’t FORCE you to spend money, you can easily just try the level again and perhaps pass it. It’s very soothing and I admit it can be frustrating when I lose, but it was designed to get harder. Like ANY GAME. And if there were any bugs before then they are all gone now. I’ve been playing this game since 8 and it’ll always be my first choice. So pls accept this game don’t be mad if something happens and it’s really a boredom buster. And if it gets way too hard, then your just gonna have to try again. It’s an amazing reminder of life getting harder and that yes, your not going to always get it on the first time and might have to try again.
