Each player's combat phase will be filled with visually stunning effects. Each ability has its effect, which deals varying amounts of damage. Make prudent decisions when engaging in combat skills. You cannot perform skills at will because each requires a different amount of time to cool down. You must time your skills correctly to prevent your opponent from counterattacking.

A MEANINGFUL STORY AND AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY

As previously stated, CHAOS RINGS III is designed with an open world and a story to guide players toward the goals they have set for themselves. The game's world is depicted as being extremely detailed and fantastical. You will find yourself in an enchanted but dangerous world full of magical bushes and houses that resemble ancient architecture. The game's plot encourages players to better understand the environment in which they find themselves.

There, on the blue star, is everything you desire.

On the floating continent high in the sky, you can find New Paleo. Explorers from all across the land flock to this hub city, seeking to fulfill their dreams and desires. But this is but a brief stop before their journey to their true destination, the azure planet of Marble Blue.

Unexplored lands, hidden treasures, monsters, legends…everything an adventurer could want could be found on this one planet.

The protagonist lives on the outskirts of town with his sister, tending to the family's livestock. One night, led by a mysterious voice, he meets a beautiful woman, who says to him thus:

"You must go now. Marble Blue, the sparkling blue mother planet, awaits."

Worlds yet undiscovered, treasures that fulfill your wildest dreams, mythologies lost in the pages of history…a great journey, the dream of a thousand years, is about to begin.

Really a 10/10 mobile JRPG. I really wish they'd continue this series, but knowing they're produced by Square Enix, It's practically impossible

Pros: Graphics (still holds up, it just looks like those classic Ps3 era JRPGs).

Gameplay: Turn-based, not too complicated. Region-by-region exploration. Classic Final Fantasy vibes. Progression isn't too bad and not grindy at all, just at the right pacing for its price and lenght.

Paid-game, Fully offline

Soundtrack is phenomenal and Story is 10/10, emotional ending, and I dare say, much better than most triple-a JPRGs released recently.

Cons: Not that optimized for newer devices and 30 fps locked.
