On top of that the game also has customization with different body types that affect your race attributes. There are only two attributes, power and endurance. Power being your explosiveness from the starting blocks and your ability to accelerate to a high top speed. Endurance on the other hand being the athletes ability to maintain a high top speed. The more power an athlete has the less endurance. The more endurance they have, the less powerful they will be. When it comes to the last 40 m of the 100 or the last 100 m of the 200, button mashing won’t get you anywhere. But just like in real life, The athlete that holds their form the best in a race decelerate‘s the slowest. In the game, you must tap the screen in a rhythm that keeps your athletes stride and frequency galloping you down the track. There’s a handful of other things that I could expand on but it’s better experienced. This game might look like your typical button masher, but it’s more of an athletics simulatior with attention to details in all the right areas.
