This game perfectly captures my love for the 2000s reboot trilogy and expands upon it with remarkable creativity. My last console was a PS2 around 2010, and my favorite game at the time was *Prince of Persia: Warrior's Heart*. When I saw this game was coming to mobile, I decided to try it before buying a Switch or PS5. I couldn't believe how amazing it was! The soundtrack, the puzzles, the story—everything was so rich. The difficulty could be adjusted based on progress. I chose the recommended difficulty, which felt challenging yet not tiring. Before ordering my first Bluetooth controller, I was already 30% complete and completely engrossed. The game world is enormous. I listen to its soundtrack in my car every day. Considering it's a 2D Metroidvania game, it feels incredibly similar to the 2000s trilogy. I absolutely must buy a console now and play all the Prince of Persia games. This game has truly brought me back to the series. I'm already 40% complete and have deliberately decided not to use a guide. It's much more fun solving puzzles and completing quests. The mobile version has a few minor bugs, but it's much better than most mobile games I've played. Specifically, I noticed that my memory fragments don't display after connecting the Bluetooth controller. Even if I disconnect the controller or delete and recreate the fragments, they are all blank. Also, when I switch back to touchscreen only, the buttons disappear and don't reappear. So I have no choice but to play with the controller, but that's not a big deal because the experience is better with the controller. These are the only issues I've found. This game is truly amazing. It's absolutely worth $10. Buy it! I enjoy playing relaxing and casual games, the kind that allow me to unwind and fully enjoy myself. Prince of Persia satisfied this need on my console, and now it's on my phone. This is my first experience with a side-scrolling Metroidvania-style game. The game clearly understands its niche and doesn't try to overwhelm me with excessive detail, graphics, or NPCs. It's practically perfect. And the fact that it doesn't overheat my phone is a huge plus. Beyond the game itself, I absolutely love the cultural details it incorporates! As an Iranian, this is absolutely the only game in Western gaming history to explore Persian mythology so deeply. I knew some of it before, but the many more details revealed in the game still surprised me, some of which I didn't even know. The option to choose Persian subtitles and voice acting is a bonus. The depth and breadth of Persian mythology rivals that of Greek or Chinese mythology. We should have given it the attention and appreciation it deserved long ago. Thank you, Ubisoft!
