I've been playing for a few days now, and I'm completely hooked! I've been looking for my next favorite game, and this is the one I kept coming across. At first, I was just casually browsing pictures, a little apprehensive, but I didn't expect such a high rating. My ideal game should blend open-world adventure and action elements, with customization features like The Sims, but without too many cumbersome design options. This game perfectly meets my expectations—it's so worth it! Excellent value for money!

I played the original Crashlands as a kid, and playing it again now as an adult feels amazing. The art style is more refined, yet it retains the essence of the original, bringing back a lot of nostalgia. The game mechanics have also been greatly improved, although the original was already practically perfect. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm already completely addicted!

I think removing the old crafting stations was a huge mistake. Each crafting station had its own unique items that you could craft using drops from specific monsters. I also really liked being able to repeatedly craft the same weapon or armor, hoping to get purple attributes. They also removed the fishing system, which I really loved. While the map is better, the lack of NPCs makes completing quests extremely difficult. Furthermore, the items aren't as fun and innovative as in the first game. I feel they've upgraded too much, losing the sheer enthusiasm and creativity of the first installment. Pet upgrades are also far too complex; I used to love the challenge of defeating powerful enemies to obtain souls and fully upgrade my pet. To make the game easier, they've sacrificed too many good things. Without powerful enemies, and with pets having cooldowns, it's completely devoid of the essence of the first game. More importantly, they've removed all the mini-bosses and bosses. I've played for over ten hours and haven't encountered a single boss. While the map is a huge world, all the terrain feels the same. That said, if you liked the first game, I believe you'll like this one too, but unfortunately, you'll miss out on a lot of the original's content.
